The veterinarian from São Paulo, Mariane Brasil, 39, posted a photo of an unusual tattoo on social media and it went viral. She registered a Caribe bonbon, by Garoto, to show her love for the delicacy.
“Simply the best in the box. Thank you @pettattoo_tacconi [tatuador] for the impeccable work and thank you @garotochocolates for this wonder as Brazilian as my name”, she posted on Instagram on April 12.
With the repercussion, the chocolate brand took notice and as a thank you sent 10 kg of chocolate to the fan. The candy with banana filling generates fun debates and divides consumers’ opinions.
But, in fact, Mariane says that Caribe is not really her favorite. “But he is one of them. My favorite is still Operetta”, she says to the Market intelligence.
And why didn’t you tattoo Operetta? “Because it’s not controversial, it’s not left out, it’s not the last in the box. I thought the Caribbean was the most misunderstood”, says the resident of São Bernardo do Campo, who has already lost count of how many tattoos he has . “Twenty-something.”
“The Caribbean is a bonbon that has been in our portfolio for a few years and, even dividing opinions, has a large portion of the consumer public that is a fan of chocolate”, says Marcos Freitas, marketing manager for Boxes and Seasonals at Nestlé Brazil.
“After this irreverent tribute from the consumer, we decided to recognize the special affection she had by sending a Caribbean Sea with 10 kg of chocolate.”
In addition to the gift sent, Garoto also produced a video with this irreverent love story between Mariane and the Caribbean candy – which resulted in the ship “Maribe”. On April 30, when she turned 39, the brand also posted a video with Garotinho getting a tattoo.
