The World Economic Forum, held annually in Davos, Switzerland, comes to an end this Thursday (26). The event returned to face-to-face mode after two years of the pandemic – the impact of the health crisis was the subject of discussions by the global economic elite, as well as the war in Ukraine.
The consequences of the conflict worry economists and authorities. In addition to the risk of food shortages, since Russia and Ukraine are major grain exporters, the energy crisis and inflation, which are skyrocketing around the world, are on the radar.
In this Thursday’s episode, Café da Manhã takes stock of the World Economic Forum. Luciana Coelho, sent from Sheet Davos, talks about the projections for the global economy and the faded role of Brazil in the conversations.
