In July, Itaú will launch a personalized digital account card for gamers.
The product will be integrated into the games’ virtual currency ecosystem, in addition to being used at ATMs and physical purchases. According to the bank, customers will also be able to choose the image of a character to illustrate the plastic.
The card, in partnership with Mastercard, will be available to all account customers, but the focus is on League of Legends players, according to Itaú.
The bank says the Player’s Bank app, launched in March, has 500,000 downloads.
