Caixa Econômica Federal will pay the Auxílio Gás and Auxílio Brasil between June 17th and 30th. The Auxílio Gás, paid every two months, was last deposited in April. The payment of the Auxílio Brasil will be made on the same dates as the Auxílio Gás, according to the end of the worker’s NIS (Social Identification Number). In May, R$ 7.3 billion were paid to 18.1 million families. Still, the waiting list has increased at a rapid pace since March.

The value of the Gas Aid, paid by the Ministry of Citizenship, is defined according to the average national reference price of the 13-kilogram cylinder of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) for the last six months, made by the ANP (National Gas Agency). , Oil and Biofuels).

The average price of gas in the semester was R$ 105.42, according to data from May. As the gas voucher pays at least 50% of this amount, the benefit should reach R$ 53, but Citizenship will still confirm this amount.

Who is entitled to the benefit

The Gas Aid is paid only to:

• Families enrolled in CadÚnico with monthly family income per capita (per family member) less than or equal to half a minimum wage (R$ 606 this year);

• Families with people who receive the BPC (Continued Payment Benefit);

• Women heads of household and victims of violence have priority to receive the benefit

The amount of the aid falls into the families’ account according to the end of the NIS. Withdrawals can be made with a social card, through the Caixa Tem app, for those who have Caixa’s digital social savings account, or through savings that the bank opens on behalf of the citizen, in lottery shops, Caixa Aqui correspondents and self-service terminals.

HOW TO CONSULT GAS AID BY CPF

​According to Caixa, citizens who believe they are entitled to a gas voucher can make the query through the Auxílio Brasil and Caixa Tem apps, with a CPF number and password. Those who don’t have the app can download it from their cell phone store. If you already have the app, update it if necessary.
