Caixa releases up to R$ 1,000 from the FGTS to 3.2 million this Wednesday

Starting this Wednesday (8), workers born in November can collect up to R$ 1,000 from the FGTS (Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço). Altogether, Caixa releases R$ 2.4 billion in the Extraordinary Saque to 3.2 million Brazilians.

Those born between January and October have already had the amount released, following the calendar provided by Caixa Econômica Federal. The last deposit, for December birthdays, will be made next Wednesday, June 15th.

The deposit is made automatically into a Caixa Tem account, created in the name of the worker. In some cases, such as workers who chose not to withdraw the emergency FGTS in 2022, it is necessary to request the amount through the FGTS application.

HOW TO REGISTER AND ACCESS THE CAIXA HAS:

• Download or update the app on your mobile. To do this, just access the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and download the Caixa Tem app.
• Access is made with CPF and password; open the app and enter the CPF and create a password
• To generate a password, you will need to follow seven steps. Among the information that must be provided are: CPF, full name, mobile number, zip code, day, month and year of birth and email
• On the next screen, create a password, confirm it, go to “I’m not a robot” and click “Register”
• On your first access, you will receive a code in an SMS message to confirm your identification in the APP
• Correctly enter your phone number to receive the code; then enter it and you will be able to use Caixa Tem services

It is possible that when you access the application for the first time, there is already an account created in your name. In this case, the suspicion is of a coup and it is necessary to go to a Caixa branch, with CPF and identification document, to make a request for a contestation.

HOW TO CONSULT THE AVAILABLE VALUE FOR WITHDRAWAL?

Through the FGTS application. Check step by step:

• Update or download the FGTS app on your mobile
• Then open the app and click “Sign in to the app”
• The program will ask if you can use Caixa.gov.br; click “Continue”
• Enter your CPF, go to “I’m not a robot” and then to “Next”; if the program asks to identify images, identify them and go to “Verify”
• Enter the password and click “Login”
• A message will appear with information about the extraordinary FGTS withdrawal, click on “I understand”
• On the home screen, go to “Extraordinary Withdrawal”, in the orange frame
• On the next screen, the amount that will be available for you to withdraw will appear.
• To find out which accounts the amount is being debited from, click on “See released FGTS accounts”

If the Extraordinary Withdrawal is not automatically released, the amount can be requested through the FGTS application.

2. Click “Sign in to the app” and then “Continue”
3. Enter your CPF, go to “I’m not a robot” and click “Next”
4. Enter your password and go to “Login”
5. The app will be able to provide explanations about the new method of withdrawal; click “Understood”
6. If there is a virtual queue, wait, you will be served soon
7. On the homepage, go to “Extraordinary Withdrawal”
8. On the next screen, information on how much you can withdraw will appear.
9. To find out which accounts the money will be withdrawn from, click on “See released FGTS accounts”
10. If the deposit has not occurred automatically, the system will inform you that it is necessary to request the withdrawal; go to “Request Withdrawal”, below, in orange and then click “Confirm”
11. The following message will appear: “Cashier will process the request and if everything is ok, the amount will be credited to your account”
12. In a few minutes, the request will be processed and the worker will see information such as the account number opened, amount to be withdrawn and withdrawal date.
