About 42 million workers with a balance in their FGTS (Service Time Guarantee Fund) account are entitled to an extraordinary withdrawal of up to R$1,000 this year. The amounts began to be released in April and the last batch will be paid on Wednesday (15).

The deposit is automatic, through Caixa Tem, but there are situations in which the money is not released on the expected date, according to the calendar that takes into account the month of birth of the citizen.

How to update data

The worker must download the FGTS application. Then, just access the app on your cell phone, informing your CPF and password. On the home page, go to “Extraordinary Withdrawal” and confirm or complete the missing registration data. Then, just click on “Request Withdrawal” to release the amount.

The application request in the app must also be made by those who have not withdrawn the 2020 emergency FGTS. Caixa informs that, in the case of the worker who needed to update their registration, the payment of the money is released in the next processing window. This means that the citizen may not receive the amounts in the month of his birth.

1. Access or download the FGTS application (if you already have the application and it is necessary, update it)
2. After downloading or updating, click “Join the app” and then “Continue”
3. Enter your CPF, go to “I’m not a robot” and click “Next”
4. Enter your password and go to “Login”
5. The app will be able to provide explanations about the new method of withdrawal; click “Understood”
6. On the homepage, go to “Extraordinary Withdrawal”
7. On the next screen, information on how much you can withdraw will appear.
8. To find out which accounts the money will be withdrawn from, click on “See released FGTS accounts”
9. If the deposit has not occurred automatically, the system will inform you that it is necessary to request the withdrawal; if this is the case, go to “Request a withdrawal”, below, in orange
10. The only option is to deposit the amount in a Caixa social savings account, operated by Caixa Tem
11. If you want the values, go to “Confirm”
12. The following message will appear: “Cashier will process the request and if everything is ok, the amount will be credited to your account”

The FGTS withdrawal is fully digital, through the Caixa Tem app. In it, it will be possible to make purchases, pay bills, transfer the amounts to other accounts, withdraw money and perform Pix.

Until November 10, those who do not want to receive will be able to return the values. The worker who does not move the money until November 15 will have it returned to the FGTS account, without any loss.

• Download or update the app on your mobile. To do this, just access the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and download the Caixa Tem app
• Access is made with CPF and password; open the app and enter the CPF and create a password

• There is a transfer limit of up to R$600 per transaction; the money will be sent by DOC (Credit Document) and will be in the account the next day

• After entering your CPF and password, click on “Withdraw without card”
• On the next page, go to “Generate code for withdrawal”

• Enter your Caixa Tem app password
• On the next screen, the code will appear. It is valid for one hour to be used at the ATM, in the lottery or in a corresponding Caixa Aqui
• Withdrawal is carried out without a card, so click on the “Enter” button on the ATM keyboard
• On this screen, click on the “Withdraw Cash Has” button
• Enter your CPF number and then enter the code generated in the application
• Choose a value to withdraw, pressing the buttons on the side, according to the options of values ​​that are offered on the screen. If you want another amount, type the amount you want to withdraw on the numeric keypad of the ATM and then press the “Enter” button
