With the growing relevance of social networks and technology as professional tools, it becomes increasingly important to position businesses on the internet. This is the main idea behind “Economia da Influence” (Ed. Gente, R$ 54.90, 208 pages), launched on May 10 and the sixth best-selling book on Amazon in the category of social networks.
In the book, Flávio Santos, CEO of MField and specialist in influencer marketing, proposes to teach strategies on how to position a brand in the digital world, generate engagement, create content and gain relevance, but without losing the “human side” of business.
With more than 15 years of career, having worked for companies such as Cemig (Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais), Commquest Comunicação and Smartalk, the entrepreneur gives lessons on how to differentiate himself from the competition, arouse interest in the public and establish links with the created community.
The book breaks down six main points on how to position the business in the networks. The first is to build a digital strategy for the brand without losing its uniqueness, that is, what makes it unique and differentiates it from the others. The second is to structure a narrative — a storytelling — that sells the business and, at the same time, wins over customers.
According to the author, it is also necessary to pay attention to numbers and metrics – important elements to be used in favor of those who want to promote their own brand. Also according to him, it is necessary to retain customers, making the enterprise an engaged community.
Two other interconnected points are the achievement of influence in the market related to the brand and the creation of relevant content for social media, generating connections that can elevate the business to the highest level of success.
“Economia da Influence” is the first book by Flávio Santos. The entrepreneur has a degree in advertising and a postgraduate degree in digital marketing.
