10.6 million still have PIS/Pasep quota to withdraw

Caixa Econômica Federal informs that, since the migration from PIS/Pasep to the FGTS (Guarantee Fund for Time of Service), 10.6 million beneficiaries still have quotas to withdraw. The accumulated volume totals R$ 23.4 billion.

The PIS/Pasep money that is available is from the quotas, not from the allowance. It corresponds to the values ​​of quotas destined to workers who had a formal contract from 1971 to October 4, 1988. This money was released by provisional measure 946/2020, which allows withdrawals until June 1, 2025.

Workers who did not withdraw from Pasep (at Banco do Brasil) or PIS (at Caixa) and the transfer of amounts has already been made to the Guarantee Fund, it is possible to withdraw the money through the FGTS application, where it is possible to consult the balance of the FGTS account originated by the migration of the PIS/PASEP Fund.
