The INSS (National Social Security Institute) begins to pay monthly benefits this Friday (24th) to retirees, pensioners and policyholders who receive aid and BPC (Continued Benefit).

The payment date varies according to the value and the final number of the benefit card, located before the dash that separates the check digit.

For benefits of up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,212), the lowest amount allowed for retirement and pensions paid by the INSS, payment starts this Friday (24) and runs until Thursday, July 7. Deposits for those who receive above the floor will be made between the 1st and 7th of July.

According to the INSS, there are about 36 million beneficiaries in the country on its payroll.

Beneficiaries can consult values, date and bank of payment online or by attending an INSS unit in person.

Online consultation can be done on the My INSS website or application, under the option “Payment Statement”. The system also allows scheduling for those who prefer to attend a unit of the institute in person.

Another option is to contact the INSS Service Center on 135, available from Monday to Saturday, from 7 am to 10 pm.
