The Parliamentary Front for the Green Economy will debate at Alesp on Tuesday (5) the bill authored by federal deputy Arnaldo Jardim (Cidadania-SP) that introduces good ESG practices (acronym for environmental, social and governance). in Brazilian legislation.
The text, developed in the parliamentary front with more than 25 entities from different sectors, addresses the national environmental policy, the Corporate Law and the bidding law, establishing international ESG parameters.
It foresees, for example, that public purchases will start to consider environmental, social and governance aspects, as well as publicly traded companies.
