Abear (an association that represents airlines such as Gol and Latam and Voepass) once again defended a review of Petrobras’ pricing policy this Tuesday (5th) after announcing another 3.9% increase in the average price of QAV (aviation kerosene) in 15 refineries compared to June.
According to Abear’s calculations, the accumulated increase in fuel exceeds 70% in the year through July. This is after an increase of more than 90% in QAV last year compared to 2020, according to the entity.
“This country needs a debate about what we want, definitively, on fuel pricing policy. What type of development, what sectors will be included and how are we going to do it to grow again, especially considering the regions farthest from the centers productive, where these prices end up rising much more”, says Eduardo Sanovicz, president of Abear.
