Mônica Bergamo: McDia Feliz raises R$ 22.5 million with 2021 edition

McDia Feliz, an event in which McDonalds allocates all the proceeds from the sale of the Big Mac in one day to its institute that helps children with cancer, this year raised R$ 22.5 million, 13% more than in 2020. The Ronald McDonald Institute will help 57 pediatric oncology institutions with some of the money. The other half will go to educational projects at the Ayrton Senna Institute.

Doctors from USP’s Hospital das Clínicas honored partners who donated R$ 60 million to fight Covid during a ceremony on Tuesday (23), at the theater of the university’s Faculty of Medicine, in São Paulo. The São Paulo State Health Secretary, Jean Gorinchteyn, the hospital’s clinical director, Eloísa Bonfá, and the BTG Pactual social responsibility director, Juliana de Paula, among others, were present.
