Starbucks will close 17 of its stores in the United States because of a series of cases of violence.
The problem was recorded in different points of the chain across the country, with the closure of units from Seattle, home of the coffee shop, in the state of Washington, to other addresses of the chain in California, Oregon, Pennsylvania and the American capital.
According to the company, employees can be transferred to neighboring stores.
Starbucks says it will also take other initiatives to deal with the situation, such as alarm systems and safety training.
