As the minister said, the pensions for 2016, 2017 and 2018 have been definitively closed.
“Last year at this time the principals pensions that were pending were about 150 thousand and this year they have fallen to 60 thousand”the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs emphasized while speaking to SKAI 100.3 Kostis Hatzidakis.
As the minister said, the pensions for 2016, 2017 and 2018 with the exception of foreign pensions as it is another category and depends on the cooperation that exists with the authorities of third countries.
Also, these pensions do not include people who are in debt or have legal entanglements.
According to Mr. Hatzidakis, “until 2018 we are at 100% of pensions in terms of their issuance, in 2019 98.9% of pensions have been issued and by the end of July it will have become 100%. In 2020 it has been issued at 94.7%, in 2021 at 80.6% and in 2022 at 70%”.
This means that pensions are now issued in three or four months, he stressed.
He also pointed out that the goal of the Ministry of Labor is from January 2023 that the pension comes out in three months. If it does not come out, the trust pensions process is activated with the digital data available to EFKA and then it comes out in a very short time.
