July Aid Brazil begins to be paid; ask questions about calendar, value and who is entitled

Caixa Econômica Federal and the Ministry of Citizenship began to pay the Auxílio Brasil for July this Monday (18). The release of the benefit goes until July 29, according to the end of the NIS (Social Identification Number). This Monday, whoever has final NIS 1 receives. On Tuesday, the benefit is released for final NIS 2.

According to Citizenship, on average, the 18.13 million families entitled to the benefit will receive R$ 408.80. The R$ 600 must be paid in August, in a new calendar that can start from 9 am. The amount is temporary and runs until December.

What is the value of the Aid Brazil 2022?

Created in November 2021 to replace Bolsa Família, Auxílio Brasil pays BRL 400 per month to families that are part of the program. This year, however, from August to December, an extra installment of R$ 200 will be released, which will temporarily raise the amount to R$ 600.

With this, from January to July, the government releases seven installments of R$ 400, adding R$ 2,800 to those served. From August to September, the installment will be R$ 600, totaling R$ 3,000.

This month, the average amount to be paid is R$ 408.80. This is because there are families who receive the extra benefits within the program.

Who receives Auxílio Brasil in July?

The July Aid Brazil will be paid to 18.13 million families that are part of CadÚnico (Cadastro Único). The Northeast is the region with the largest number of beneficiaries. In all, almost 8.6 million families receive the aid. Then come the Southeast (5.2 million), North (2.1 million), South (1.2 million) and Midwest (941 thousand) regions.

Payments started this Monday (18) and go until Friday (29). The rule remains the same as for Bolsa Família: the release of amounts occurs according to the end of the NIS.

How do I get the Auxílio Brasil?

To be entitled to the benefit, families need to be part of CadÚnico. Registration is initially carried out on the internet, on the CadÚnico app or website, and needs to be confirmed at the CRAS (Social Assistance Reference Center) of the municipalities.

It is necessary to meet the criteria of extreme poverty, with an income of up to R$ 105 per person in the family (per capita), or poverty, with an income between R$ 105.01 and R$ 210 per person in the family (per capita). The aid is also paid to those who are under the emancipation rule, which is when the beneficiary gets a formal job, but is still entitled to receive the benefit if the income per person in the family is up to R$ 525.

Who can register with CadÚnico?

The Single Registry pays other benefits in addition to the Auxílio Brasil and, therefore, low-income families must register to receive the aid. In this case, to be a member, the family must be considered low-income, with a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per member, which amounts to R$ 606 this year.

To register, it is important to have a responsible person to answer the questions. This person must be part of the family, live in the same house and be at least 16 years old.

The person responsible must present his CPF and his voter registration card. It is also necessary to bring proof of address, which can be a water or electricity bill.

What is the status of Auxílio Brasil?

Auxílio Brasil is a federal benefit that permanently replaces Bolsa Família. Only the amount of R$ 600 will be temporary. The forecast is that, in January 2023, the benefit will again be R$ 400.

The extra income of R$ 200 to be paid from August to December was approved after the PEC (proposed amendment to the Constitution) Kamikaze passed Congress, determining a state of emergency in the country. This was the way the government found to circumvent the electoral legislation.

When will the Auxílio Brasil of R$ 600 be paid?

In order for the benefit of R$ 600 to be paid by the government, a publication must take place with the release of the extra amount already approved in the PEC and published in the constitutional amendment 123, of R$ 26 billion. The intention is to expand the total number of beneficiaries to 20.2 million.

The amount will start to be released in August and the government’s intention is to change the calendar and start deposits from August 9th. If following the same calendar based on the end of the NIS, payments would end on August 22nd.

How do I know if I’m on CadÚnico?

To find out if the family is already on CadÚnico, the citizen can make the query on the app or on the website. It is possible to consult informing the CPF number and the date of birth. For this, the data reported must be the same as the Federal Revenue Service.

In the simple query, it is not necessary to login with a username and password, just enter the requested data, such as full name, date of birth, mother’s name and municipality in which you reside.

For the complete consultation, the worker must have a gov.br password, with a CPF and user password. In this case, more information will be available, such as NIS, family code, registration status, date of the last update and deadline for a new registration update.

How is CadÚnico updated?

The Ministry of Citizenship is carrying out the review and cadastral verification of who is in CadÚnico. On review, the family needs to update the data. In the investigation, data will be cross-referenced with other federal administrative records.

If inconsistencies are identified after the data is crossed, the family must prove that it continues to fulfill the criteria to be on Auxílio Brasil.

Those undergoing the review have until October 14 to update their information. In the case of investigation, the deadline goes until August 12. In both cases, the government extended the deadlines, which expired in June and July.

Who will receive the Auxílio Brasil card?

Everyone who is part of Auxílio Brasil will be entitled to a new card with the debit function. However, the distribution that began in June will prioritize 6.6 million families, of which about 3.2 million are already receiving the card at home, through the Post Office. These are families that received through digital social savings from Caixa.

When the user receives the card, the password for use can be registered at lottery units, Caixa branches and through the Caixa Tem application.

What is the new Auxílio Brasil card for?

According to the government, the new card is used to receive the benefit at Caixa Econômica Federal branches and lottery houses, in addition to banking correspondents. With it, it will be possible to make debit purchases in several establishments, such as markets, pharmacies, stores, gas stations and other establishments that accept cards in the debit function. In addition, as the card contains a chip, the risk of cloning is lower.
