The deadline for submitting proposals from companies interested in partnering with Sabesp to work on the reuse of sewage sludge ends this Friday (22).
The idea is for companies to create solutions for the material resulting from sewage treatment at Sabesp’s stations.
It is estimated that around 700 tons per day of this material from eight sewage treatment plants will be transformed into a commercial product – such as organic fertilizer and energy.
