The capitalization bond market, which attracts investors by offering prizes in periodic draws, sees its revenues grow below inflation this year, according to data from FenaCap (National Federation of Capitalization), which represents 16 companies in the sector.
They raised BRL 18 billion from January to September, 6% more than in the same period last year. Companies associated with the entity paid an average of R$5 million per day in premiums this year, up from R$4 million last year.
In the evaluation of Marcelo Farinha, president of FenaCap, growth is frustrating for having been below inflation, but it is not negligible in the context of the pandemic and the economic crisis. The sector is projected to advance in 2022, with the resumption of activities in the country.
