More than 20% of workers surveyed in a Sodexo survey say they started taking lunchboxes to work after the rise in inflation.
Of the total, 65% say they have the habit of taking warm food to the service, while 17% eat in restaurants with prepared dishes and 15% buy a meal by the kilo.
More than 40% stopped going to restaurants on weekends because they could not afford it.
In June, inflation in the country grew 0.67% and reached 11.89% in the 12-month period. The rise was influenced by the price of food for consumption outside the home, which rose 1.26%.
