Step by step the process

As far as the process is concerned, it is the same as the one followed in the first phase of the Fuel Pass. Analytically:

1. The beneficiary enters the online platform https://vouchers.gov.gr/ with the Taxisnet codes.

2. After entering the application, the applicant completes and updates his contact information so that it is valid and, in particular, his email address and mobile phone number.

3. He chooses whether he wishes to issue a voucher or deposit into a bank account by filling in the iban for which he wants the amount credited.

4. After the completion of the application and once his status as a beneficiary has been verified, the Information Society transmits an approval decision to the bank.

5. Next, the bank informs the beneficiary of the procedure to be followed in order to activate the card and credit the amount of money, by sending: a) a text message (sms) to the mobile phone number that the beneficiary has declared in the special application, with integrated instructions and b) an e-mail message (e-mail) to the e-mail address stated by the beneficiary in the special application with an integrated link to activate the digital debit card. After entering the above link, the beneficiary creates a personal access code (password) and

receives a confirmation code, with a new text message (sms), in order to activate his digital debit card, to which the fuel subsidy amount is credited.

6. The amount of money credited to the debit card can be used exclusively by the beneficiary to purchase fuel and it is not possible to transfer it to a third party or withdraw it.

It is worth noting that in order to verify the applicant’s information, the information system of the application retrieves information about the vehicle and motorcycle-moped and its owner using the following online services:

– Vehicle details and owner profile from A.A.D.E.,

– Details of Traffic Fees from A.A.D.E.,

– Find vehicle insurance (Subsidiary Insurance Capital),

– Income and residence details for the fuel subsidy from the A.A.D.E., for the control of ownership of private use of a vehicle, motorcycle-moped, insurance, payment of road tax and the control of the declared family income

circulation and control of the declared family income

SOS for submitting applications

· The vehicle must be roadworthy, insured and no road tax due

· Each vehicle or motorcycle-moped can be declared by a single natural person, who has full ownership or co-ownership or is a lessee under a leasing contract.

· Each natural person can only declare one vehicle or motorcycle-moped. A necessary condition is that the vehicle, motorcycle-moped, is in traffic, is insured and no traffic fees are due.

· For Fuel Pass 2, tax year 2021 returns are taken into account. Thus, those who have not yet submitted a tax return should have done so by August 29, when the platform “closes” and they are excluded from the aid.
