Pensions and benefits: What is paid by e-EFKA and DYPA for the period 22-26 August

It is estimated that a total of 646.3 million euros will be paid to more than 1.2 million beneficiaries.

The payment of main and auxiliary pensions for September begins today, as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today.

In detail, the announcement states:

The start of the payment of the main and auxiliary September pensions (with the process being completed the following week) includes – among other things – the planning of payments from e-EFKA and DYPA for the week of August 22-26.

In total, it is estimated that around 646.3 million euros will be paid to over 1.2 million beneficiaries.

Particularly:

1. The e-EFKA will make the following payments in the period 22-26 August, as part of the Agency’s regular payments:

  • On Thursday, August 25, 39 million euros will be paid to 189,000 beneficiaries for supplementary pensions for the month of September.
  • On Friday, August 26, 555 million euros will be paid for the main and supplementary September pensions of 975,000 pensioners who come from the former entities OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAA, ETAT, ETAP-MME and PPC.
  • Next week, 13.5 million euros will also be paid to 46,715 beneficiaries for cash benefits (maternity, pregnancy, sickness, accident, funeral benefits).

Finally, 17 million euros will be paid to 730 beneficiaries following the issuance of decisions for a one-off award.

2. The following payments will be made by DYPA:

  • 11 million euros to 28,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
  • 9 million euros to 15,000 beneficiaries in the context of subsidized employment programs.
  • 800,000 euros to 900 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
  • 1 million euros for 2,000 beneficiaries for Public Benefit Programs.
