Senate opens contest for position with salary of up to R$ 33 thousand

Registration for the Federal Senate public contest begins this Tuesday (23), at 4 pm. There are 22 vacancies for higher education, with remuneration of up to R$ 33,461.68. Entries can be made on the website https://knowledge.fgv.br/concursos/senado22.

The contest will serve to form a reserve record and fill 22 vacancies, distributed among different positions and specialties, as follows:

• 11 for legislative analyst, for the specialties of administration (2), archivology, social work, accounting, nursing, electronic and telecommunications engineering, labor engineering, legislative process, legislative informatics with a focus on systems analysis and legislative informatics with a focus on analysis systems support
• 1 for legislative analyst, for the parliamentary record and writing specialty
• 1 for lawyer
• 2 for legislative consultant, for the specialties of legislative advice, with a focus on labor law and social security law and budget advising, with a focus on budget and financial law
• 7 for Legislative Technician, for Legislative Police Specialty

Salaries vary between R$19,427.79 for the position of legislative technician, R$25,897.76 for the position of legislative analyst and R$33,461.68 for the positions of lawyer and legislative consultant.

The contest is valid for two years from the publication of the final result, with the possibility of extension.

According to the notices, at least 5% of vacancies will be reserved for people with disabilities and 20% for black people.

Applications are open from 4:00 pm on August 23 to 4:00 pm on September 21.

To register, fill in the registration application at https://knowledge.fgv.br/concursos/senado22, print the Union Collection Guide that will be made available and make your payment at any bank, lottery shop or post office until the 23rd. of September.

The registration fee is R$73 for the position of legislative analyst, R$94 for the positions of lawyer and legislative consultant, and R$55 for the position of legislative technician. It is possible to request an exemption.

For all positions, an objective test and a written discursive test will be carried out. In addition, there will be a practical shorthand test for the position of legislative analyst and proof of qualifications for the positions of lawyer and legislative consultant. For the position of legislative technician – legislative policeman, there will also be a physical and mental health test, a physical aptitude test, a psychotechnical exam and a previous life investigation and social investigation.

The objective and discursive tests can be carried out in all capitals or in nearby cities, if necessary. Other steps can take place remotely, with the exception of the physical aptitude test and the psychotechnical exam, which will be carried out exclusively in Brasília.
