Bonus of 300 euros for the long-term unemployed

The long-term unemployed who have been on the DYPA list (OAED) for more than 5 years, if they draw up a digital action plan, will receive a bonus of 300 euros. As the data from the long-term unemployed (more than 1 year) show, 33% remain in it for more than 5 years.

50% bonus

If an unemployed person finds work while receiving unemployment benefit, they will continue to receive 50% of the benefit until the benefit period ends. This means that if the unemployed person finds a job after 6 months and receives a salary of 1,000 euros, he will continue to receive another 203 euros from the OAED for the remaining 6 months, an amount that corresponds to half of the unemployment benefit.

When will the unemployed be deleted?

The unemployed person will be deleted from the unemployment register if he refuses 3 times to work in a suitable position proposed to him by the OAED. In this case, his deletion will last for 2 years and the unemployment benefit will be interrupted. Deletion is also provided for in case of refusal to participate in a training program. When this happens, the unemployed person will be removed from the register for 6 months and will not be paid unemployment benefit for the same period.

In addition, in order to remain on the unemployment register, the unemployed person must proceed to draw up a digital individual action plan in collaboration with the DYPA employment advisor (OAED). The plan includes the job seeker’s knowledge, abilities, skills, previous employment, training needs, or other actions that will facilitate finding a job with a specific timeline.
