In total, it is estimated that around 1.7 billion euros will be paid to approximately 3.8 million beneficiaries.
The completion of the process payment of the main and supplementary September pensionswhich started on Friday August 26 and the payment of benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for the month of August, includes, among other things, the planning of payments from e-EFKA, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and OPECA, for the week of August 29-September 2, 2022.
In total, it is estimated that around 1.7 billion euros will be paid to approximately 3.8 million beneficiaries.
In particular, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs:
1. From e-EFKA the following payments will be made, in the period August 29-September 2, as part of the organization’s regular payments:
– On Monday, August 29, 762.8 million euros will be paid to 1,499,113 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
– On Tuesday, August 30, 763.5 million euros will be paid to 1,501,377 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
– Next week, 14 million euros will be paid to 600 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions and 350,000 euros to 500 beneficiaries for benefits of the TAVTEKO district.
2. From DOUBLE the following payments will be made:
– 11 million euros to 28,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– 9 million euros to 15,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
– 1 million euros to 2,000 beneficiaries for programs of a public interest nature.
– 800,000 euros to 900 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
3. From the OPECAon Wednesday August 31, the following payments will be made:
– 71.2 million euros to 173,506 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).
– 48.3 million euros to 227,652 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
– 33.7 million euros to 280,740 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
– 11.4 million euros to 11,383 beneficiaries for birth allowance.
– 11.5 million euros to 35,046 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.
– 251,204 euros to 1,289 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans of the “GEFYRA” program (due to COVID-19).
– 250,779 euros to 788 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.
– 213,900 euros to 6,071 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.
– 185,995 euros to 2,771 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans (main residence protection).
– 52,067 euros to 66 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
