Purchase intent on this year’s Black Friday should appear different from last year’s version, when consumers took advantage of the date’s discounts to buy more items such as food, drinks and hygiene products.
According to a survey by Reclame Aqui, interest in higher-value goods should gain strength.
When asked where they would like to have more discounts, respondents point to home appliances and small appliances, white goods and electronics, which reach 73% of preference.
Despite the greater interest in products with a higher average ticket, the consumer can give up the purchase depending on the size of the promotion. The decision will be guided by price, according to approximately 75% of respondents.
