Manufacturers of equipment and hospital products brought together different associations of the sector to prepare their document with the guidelines for the next government and take it to the presidential candidates together.
Signed by Abimed (health technology industry association), Abimo (medical device industry) and Abraid (importers and distributors of health products), the text defines nine proposals that call for increased competitiveness and other demands of common interest.
The sector complains of tax incidence and low investment, asks for tax reform that includes it or reduction of rates.
They also ask for a reduction in registration and approval bureaucracy at Inmetro and Anvisa to speed up rules and procedures.
