Energy measures: A subsidy of 0.25 euros per liter is coming at the pump for heating oil

Drastic intervention directly at the heating oil pump, the Prime Minister announced both yesterday during his speech and today during the press conference, without however providing further details.

More specifically, last year the season “opened” with an oil price at 1.16 euros with the Russian invasion “launching” at its end, on 04/15/ with the price close to 1.60 euros.

Based on the above data, it seems that the estimates are confirmed that this year, on 15/10, the season will open with the price of oil fluctuating at the same levels as in April.

According to a report by SKAI, the government is preparing to proceed with a subsidy which will aim to “wipe out” part of this increase recorded in the price of oil and which will concern all consumers.

In particular, the subsidy is calculated at 0.25 cents per liter at the pump so that the price thus falls close to 1.35 euros.

In any case, oil will be more expensive compared to this time last year, but clearly cheaper compared to how its price is now, given the conditions imposed by the energy crisis.

It is worth noting that a portion of citizens will benefit three times in terms of heating since the allowance itself is increased from 184 million to 300 million euros and at the second level of intervention it is doubled on the one hand for those who turn off their air conditioners and do not use natural gas in favor of oil or other forms of energy and on the one hand for the new beneficiaries who will join the system after the expansion of the income criteria.

It is recalled that the Prime Minister emphasized during the press conference, earlier today from Vellideio, that the government has done everything necessary for the difficult winter that is coming, both in terms of the supply of natural gas and LNG .
