Claro customers complain about lack of signal in São Paulo

Claro customers reported technical failures in the operator’s services this Friday morning (16). There are complaints of difficulty in accessing fixed and mobile internet and failure in the telephony signal.

The difficulties would have started in the early hours of the morning. The website Downdetector, which records complaints from online services, points to a peak of 2,591 reports around 8:27 am.

Customer complaints are concentrated in the state of São Paulo — mainly in the capital and metropolitan region and in the cities of Campinas, Sorocaba and Ribeirão Preto. But there are also notifications from Curitiba, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.

According to the website, the most reported problems are in relation to mobile telephony (54%), signal failure (4%) and fixed internet (2%).

“The operator reinforces that its technical teams worked promptly and services were restored,” he said in a statement.

On social networks, users of the operator also wrote to complain about the service this Friday. In some posts, the company’s official profile responded to netizens with apologies for the inconvenience.
