Mônica Bergamo: PT economists are scared of Henrique Meirelles’ entry into the campaign

Henrique Meirelles’ declaration of support for Lula (PT) at the former president’s campaign event unsettled economists who are participating in the elaboration of the PT’s government program. The yellow light came on precisely because of the fear that, if elected, the PT would call the former president of the Central Bank to occupy a position in the economic area, or even that he would have some kind of influence on public policy decisions.
