Panel SA: Bolsonaro businessman criticizes president after promise to recreate ministry

by

On the eve of the election, Bolsonar businessman Salim Mattar, founder of Localiza, made a rare criticism of Bolsonaro this Wednesday (21), after the president said again that, if reelected, he would recreate the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Services.

In one of the comments that he has the habit of making daily on social networks, Mattar said that, instead of increasing the number of folders, the correct thing would be to reduce.

The businessman did not just mention Bolsonaro. He said the other presidential candidates also want to expand ministries, but Wednesday’s message draws attention because it expressly mentions the president’s name.

In the few public criticisms he directs of the government, Mattar usually blames the establishment, using more generic terms, without mentioning Bolsonaro’s name.

The businessman was secretary of privatization of the current government, but left the position in 2020 complaining that it was difficult to overcome the stabilization.

“Tebet, Ciro, Lula and Bolsonaro promise to expand the number of ministries, increasing the size of the machine and preserving the interests of the establishment. wrote Mattar on Twitter this Wednesday.
