The INSS announced the extension of registration for its contest until 11:59 pm this Tuesday (4). The decision was announced after the Cebraspe website went offline on the last day of the official deadline. In social networks, there are reports of failures in previous days.
In a statement, the institute reported that the site was unstable and candidates had difficulty accessing it due to the large number of hits.
The correction of the notice with the new registration deadline will be published in the Official Gazette this Tuesday.
Site instability occurs on all internet browsers. On Twitter, candidates report despair at the possibility of missing the application deadline.
The government has already estimated that the selection may receive 1.5 million entries. In the last INSS contest, published in December 2015, there were more than 1 million participants for 950 vacancies and the position of social security technician was disputed by 1,304 candidates per vacancy.
The position of social security technician requires a complete high school education and has a salary of up to R$ 5,905.79 for a 40-hour work week. The thousand vacancies are distributed in the 97 executive managements of the institute located throughout the country. Of the total, 708 are for broad competition, 90 for people with disabilities and 202 for blacks.
The registration fee, in the amount of R$ 85, can be paid until the 21st of October. Candidates who meet the criteria can get free.
Hiring is scheduled for 2023. Those who are approved must have a high school certificate or technical course issued by an educational institution recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education) with completion by the date of inauguration.
The tests are scheduled for November 27, lasting 3h30. There will be 50 questions about basic knowledge and 70 questions about specific knowledge. The competition will have two phases, both eliminatory, with test and course.
