Small and medium-sized rural producers in São Paulo will be able to receive credit from the state government within five days, according to Wiz BPO, a company that has entered into a partnership with the development agency Desenvolvimento SP to speed up access to financing for agribusiness.
The agency has R$ 100 million to finance farmers whose production was impacted by climatic variations during the coronavirus pandemic. Producers can borrow up to R$ 80 thousand and associations and cooperatives, up to R$ 1.5 million, with subsidized interest rates
To apply for credit, the producer or associate must look for the Casas da Agricultura and the Rural Development Offices (EDRs) throughout the state.
