The payment of the main and auxiliary pensions in January includes, among others, the scheduling of payments by e-EFKA and OAED for the week of December 20-24.
In total, about 2.1 billion euros will be paid to almost 4 million beneficiaries. In particular, as stated in an announcement of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs:
1. The following payments will be made by e-EFKA, within the framework of the regular payments of the institution:
– On Monday, December 20, an amount of 463 million euros will be paid to 838,000 beneficiaries for the main and auxiliary January pensions of retirees from the former OAEE, OGA and EBRD.
– On Tuesday, December 21, an amount of 522 million euros will be paid to 1,090,000 retirees from the former IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.
– On Wednesday, December 22, an amount of 520 million euros will be paid to retirees from the former IKA – ETAM, banks and OTE, with AMKA ending at 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
– The process of payment of the January pensions will be completed on Thursday, December 23, with the payment of 540.2 million euros to 910,000 beneficiaries for main and auxiliary pensions of the State, the former NAT, the former ETAT, the former ETAP-MME and PPC.
– 23.1 million euros will also be paid to 850 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
– 13.2 million will be paid to 27,280 beneficiaries as cash benefits.
– Finally, 38,000 euros will be paid to 25 beneficiaries for inheritance benefits of supplementary pension.
In addition, 190,000 euros will be paid to 500 policyholders for the payment of overdue health debts.
2. The following payments will be made by OAED:
– EUR 16 million to 38,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– € 26 million will be paid to 8,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment schemes.
– 800,000 euros will be paid to 3,000 mothers for a subsidized maternity leave.
– € 1 million will be paid to 2,000 beneficiaries for community service projects.
