Another 148,325 new beneficiaries of the “Recycle – Change Device” program
The Ministry of Environment and Energy announces the inclusion of 148,325 new beneficiaries in the “Recycle – Change Device” program, from the existing list of runners-up.
As the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, had announced, the extremely successful action of recycling and replacing electrical appliances is being expanded with the allocation of an additional 136.6 million euros.
It is noted that the initial budget of the “Recycle – Change Device” program is almost doubled, with total resources reaching 287 million euros.
New beneficiaries will be notified by personal message on their mobile phones.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Kostas Skrekas, stated: “Consistent with the commitment of the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, we include an additional 148,000 beneficiaries in the largest action of replacing and recycling energy-intensive devices in the country. In total, over 380 thousand households have the possibility to significantly reduce their energy costs and contribute to the protection of the environment. After the great participation of our fellow citizens in “Recycling Change Device”, we are almost doubling the original budget of the program, which today reaches 287 million euros».
