We have decided to extend the heating oil subsidy, amounting to 25 cents per liter including VAT, for another quarter to 15 cents including VAT.

The Minister of Finance estimated that by the middle of February the platform will be ready for the granting of support to households in food stores. He reiterated that the income criteria is 16,000 for a single person, 24,000 for a couple and is increased by 5,000 per person. The measure will apply from February (the first payment, credit to the card will be made at the end of February) and for six months. If the citizen does not use up the amount that will be included as a subsidy on the card, the amount will be transferred to the next month, it will not be lost. For the elderly, the process can be done as was done with the fuel pass from gov.gr.
