Vehicle owners in São Paulo will be able to pay the IPVA 2023 in the banking network from January 2, but it is already possible to check the market value defined by the government to calculate this year’s tax on the website of the Secretariat of Finance.
The tribute can be paid in up to five installments and the salaries begin to occur from January 11, according to the calendar released this Tuesday (20). The discount this year for those who pay the tax in cash is 3% again, less than the 9% granted last year.
Another curiosity is the lowest IPVA amount to be paid in 2023. A self-made model (handmade, made for own use) identified by the secretariat as “Antonio Carlos”, year 2004, with a market value of R$ 1,335 in September last year, and tax of BRL 54.20.
Among motorcycles, the most expensive IPVA is the Ducati 1299 Superleggera model, which has a single unit registered in the state, with a market value of R$ 441,000. The tax to be paid is R$ 8,828.60.
Among the SUVs, classified by the state in the utility category, the owner of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, manufactured in 2022, will pay BRL 247,864.68 in IPVA alone. The market value of the luxury car was valued at R$ 6.1 million.
