Panel SA: Hospitality in Brasilia predicts occupancy below estimated for Lula’s inauguration

The occupancy rate of hotels in the Federal District this New Year’s Eve should be below the sector’s expectations, despite the increase in visitors who traveled to watch Lula’s inauguration ceremony.

According to estimates by Abih-DF (Association of Hotels in the Federal District), the level should be below 90%, a mark that is usually registered on the date in years of presidential inauguration. The most up-to-date data from ABIH, on Friday (30), indicated 84% occupancy.
