The process now proceeds to the analysis of the TCU (Court of Accounts of the Union).

The 16 airports will be granted in three blocks and the minimum grant value added will reach R$905.8 million. And the projects must involve total investments of around R$ 19.1 billion. The auction should take place in the first half of 2022.

One of the blocks comprises the airports of Congonhas and Campo de Marte (SP); Campo Grande, Corumbá, Ponta Porã (MS), Santarém, Marabá, Parauapebas and Altamira (PA). This has a minimum grant of R$525.2 million and the expected investment for the entire contract is R$11.4 billion.

The second block has Santos Dumont and Jacarepaguá (RJ) airports; Montes Claros, Uberlândia and Uberaba (MG). For this set, the initial bid is R$324 million, with an estimated investment in the concession of R$5.8 billion.

The third and last has the airports of Belém (PA) and Macapá (AP), with an initial grant of R$ 56.6 million and an estimated investment of R$ 1.9 billion.
