Scammers try to block refineries in SP, RS and MG; see situation in states

The FUP (Single Federation of Oil Workers) issued a balance sheet this Monday morning (9) indicating a drop in the number of Bolsonarists who try to access Petrobras refineries to jeopardize the supply of fuel in the country, in what would be an escalation of coup acts.

According to the federation, the demobilization of the protesters is the result of the actions of the security forces, the FUP itself and unions.

This Sunday (8), coup plotters destroyed the National Congress, the Planalto Palace and the STF (Federal Supreme Court). In addition to the attacks on institutions, they had announced that they would block refineries.

Faced with the threats, throughout Sunday the FUP activated federal security agencies, Petrobras’ intelligence and corporate security service and Senator Jean Paul Prates, appointed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to assume the presidency of Petrobras.

The targets of the scammers are Reduc (Duque de Caxias Refinery, in Rio), Replan (Paulínia Refinery, in São Paulo), Revap (Henrique Lage Refinery or Vale do Paraíba Refinery, also in São Paulo) and Refap (Alberto Pasqualini Refinery , in Rio Grande do Sul).

The FUP informed that there will be a videoconference meeting this Monday, at 2 pm, with parties, trade union centrals, popular movements and civil society organizations to call for mobilization in response to the coup acts.

At 8 am, there was no movement at Reman (Isaac Sabbá Refinery), according to FUP. An hour earlier, about 50 demonstrators were on the access roads to the site. There are no locks. There is a strong presence of security forces.

Paraná

At 8:00 am, there were no more demonstrators at the Araucária refinery and pool. The scammers were dispersed by the PM during the night. The security forces remain in the vicinity of the
installations. There are no locks.

Rio Grande do Sul

About 10 protesters remain camped on the roundabout in front of the refinery — there were 30 in the morning. Military police, the PRF (Federal Highway Police) and the Shock Battalion are present. Blocks are not registered.

Duque de Refinery caxias

No protesters, who were dispersed at dawn. PM and Shock Battalion present near Reduc.

Betim/MG

About 5 Bolsonaristas are on the central median of the access road to Regap. Military Police, PRF and Fire Department on site. There are no locks.

Sao Jose dos Campos/SP

About 30 protesters approached trucks to prevent them from accessing the Base in the Paraíba Valley, owned by Empresa Vibra (formerly BR-Distribuidora). There is a presence of PMs, who work to ensure access and safety for truck drivers. There are no locks.
