According to e-EFKA, the objective of strengthening the procedures for collecting insurance debts and increasing the revenues of e-EFKA, as well as strengthening the sustainability of the social security system, was achieved in the best possible way, due to the key interventions, that were implemented in the previous year and, in particular:

– With the favorable fixed arrangement of 24 installments, which made it easier for the debtors of overdue insurance debts to comply with the arrangement they have accepted with the KEAO and for new debtors who were unable to settle their debts to join them.

– With the electronic certificate of debt for real estate transfers, with which the procedures were accelerated, while contributing to the reduction of debts to the KEAO.

Finally, the restart of collection procedures, after the period of the pandemic, during which the collection of the debts of the victims had been suspended, contributed to the increase in revenues.
