Panel SA: Procon notifies graduation company after case of USP student suspected of embezzling R$ 920 thousand

by

After the revelation of the case of the USP medical student investigated by the Civil Police of São Paulo on suspicion of embezzling almost R$ 1 million from the graduation party, Procon-SP notified the company Ás Formaturas asking for information about the case.

The student is investigated after accusations by colleagues of having embezzled BRL 920,000 from the graduation fund of her class at the Faculty of Medicine.

Procon-SP states that the company “must explain who authorized the transfer of amounts and what criteria were established for moving money between ÁS Formaturas and any member of the trainees’ commission or third parties”.

The deadline for sending explanations is Thursday (19).

According to the SSP (Secretary of Public Security), the students discovered the possible hoax on January 6th, when the suspect herself reported the case in a WhatsApp group. She told her colleagues that she would have invested the fund’s money in a brokerage and suffered a blow.
