INSS starts releasing retirement extracts with annual readjustment

The INSS (National Institute of Social Security) began to release the retirement statements with the new values, after the annual readjustment. The report had access to three extracts of benefits referring to January 2023, one for the minimum wage and two above the minimum wage.

Sought, the INSS did not say whether the extracts of all beneficiaries are already released for consultation until the publication of this text.

The consultation of the new values ​​is done in My INSS, through the website or application. If it is the first access, you will need to answer some questions about the history of contributions and register a password.

How to consult the extract

After entering the password, on the home screen, in the “My Benefits” box, the insured must click on the eye symbol. The January competence should appear, the final value of the benefit (after discounts), the expected payment date and whether or not it is blocked for loans.

By clicking on “Detail”, on the next page, the system will show the final retirement amount (after discounts) and the amount that is available for payroll, if any. If you click on “View payment statement”, the gross amount of the new benefit and details of the discounts, if any, will appear.

• MR value for the period: gross benefit amount, with the annual readjustment, without considering the discounts
• Consignment bank loan (if any): discount of the loan that the insured person has in progress
• Deduction for beneficiaries over 65 years of age: Retirees and pensioners are entitled to an additional quota of exemption from Income Tax
• Income tax: Value of the discount made at source, for benefits above the exemption limit
• Other discounts may also appear, such as associations and unions, for example.

Payments start this Wednesday

The INSS begins to pay retirement benefits, pensions and aid in the amount of the new minimum wage, of R$ 1,302, as of this Wednesday (25). Payments continue until February 7th.

Policyholders in the city of São Paulo start receiving the new pension only on Thursday (26), because of the municipal anniversary holiday of the city, celebrated this Wednesday.

Benefits above the minimum wage will be deposited between February 1st and February 7th, with a readjustment of 5.93%, equivalent to the INPC (National Consumer Price Index) accumulated in 2022. In total, there are about 37 million of beneficiaries in the country.

For those who earn up to the minimum wage (R$ 1,302):

* Beneficiaries from the city of São Paulo with final NIS 1 will only receive it on Thursday (26)
