More than 10,000 visitors are expected to be attracted over three days by the approximately 130 events of the Money Show 2023 in Thessaloniki, with Northern Greece’s only multi-thematic event returning on January 27-29, after a two and a half year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The profile of the 31st Money Show multi-conference, which draws its theme – among others – from technological developments, challenges in energy shaping a new geopolitical context, the primary sector, demands for development and the labor market, presented today, during a press conference, the president of the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of Thessaloniki, Christos Sarantopoulos and the first vice-president of the city’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBETH), Manolis Vlachogiannis.
The business and economic conference, which will be held at the “Hyatt Regency” hotel, is organized by the Hellenic-Italian Chamber of Thessaloniki and Organotecnica, in collaboration with ΕΤΕΥ and under the auspices of the Ministry of the Interior (Macedonia-Thrace Sector), the Region of Central Macedonia and of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
With the slogan “engine of development and evolution”, this year’s event seeks exactly that: to be an engine of development, networking and the development of synergies, as clarified by Mr. Sarandopoulos, pointing out that the main areas on which the theme of this year’s event is developed are: technologies , agriculture and agri-food, energy and environment, infrastructure, tourism and culture, financial tools for businesses and the future development of Thessaloniki as a metropolitan area.
“This year’s event puts special emphasis on the major challenges of the time, such as the energy crisis and the restructuring of the country’s productive fabric” noted Mr. Vlachogiannis, pointing out that the Money Show can give a better picture of the opportunities and possibilities that are opening up for the Greek economy in general and Northern Greece in particular.
