Panel SA: Josué takes another step back to pacify Fiesp

by

One day after releasing a conciliation letter to end the internal struggle for the command of Fiesp, signed by the president of the federation, Josué Gomes, and his predecessor, Paulo Skaf, the entity published a new communiqué this Friday (27).

Now, the conciliation effort goes deeper and mentions the supposed characters of the battle. The objective is to seal the peace between Gomes and the directors who had their names exposed as opponents of Josué in an extrajudicial notification released by the president of Fiesp last week.

In this Friday’s communiqué, Fiesp says that Josué Gomes met with union presidents and directors of the entity, among them André Sturm (audiovisual industry), Silvio Valdissera (Union Installation) and Paulo Schoueri (Sietex).

According to the text, “everyone is committed to a united Fiesp in favor of the sustainable development” of the industry and the country.

In the extrajudicial notification that cited Sturm, Valdissera, Schoueri and four other people, the president of Fiesp warned that he would take legal measures to protect his mandate.

The confusion at Fiesp seems to have ended this Thursday with an agreement in which Josué and Skaf ask everyone involved to drop their differences.

Conflicts at Fiesp, led by a group of unions opposed to Josué, surfaced in the middle of last year, when the president of Fiesp involved the name of the entity in acts in defense of democracy to react to the escalation of former president Bolsonaro against the polls.
