Registration for the Banco do Brasil competition with 6,000 vacancies ends on the 24th

Entries for the 6,000 job vacancies offered in the Banco do Brasil contest end on the 24th of this month. Those interested can register on the website of the Cesgranrio Foundation, organizer of the selection. The participation fee is R$50.

Of the total vacancies, 4,000 are for immediate hiring, 2,000 for commercial agents and 2,000 in the information technology area, for technology agents. The other posts are for reserve registration, with a thousand opportunities for each of the areas.

The initial remuneration is BRL 3,622.23 for a 30-hour week. The bank also provides aid of R$ 1,014.42 for food or a meal plus a food basket of R$ 799.38.

To participate, the candidate must have completed high school and be 18 years old by the date of hiring. No previous professional experience is required.

In the case of technology agents, the first three months are for training and knowledge necessary for the role. During this period, there will be an experience contract. After this stage, the candidate will be able to advance to the next information technology function and participate in a specific trainee program.

Those who move on to the next phase have a salary of R$ 6,075.55, also for 30 hours a week. After 90 days, he will be able to occupy the position of advisor 3 in the area, with a salary of R$ 7,254.40 for the same weekly workload. Another advantage is the possibility of hybrid remote work.

The test, scheduled to be held on April 23, 2023, will have 25 questions of basic knowledge in Portuguese, English, mathematics and financial market news, and 45 of specific knowledge according to the desired vacancy.

Selection has reserved spots for blacks

The Banco do Brasil contest will have vacancies for candidates who declare themselves to be black. In all, 20% of the posts are allocated to the quotas provided for in Law 12,990 both in immediate hiring and in the reserve register.

Candidates approved by quotas will be called for what the bank calls “face-to-face verification of the veracity of the self-declaration” on a date to be set by the company. The forecast is that the edict with the summons will be published on June 13 of this year.

The evaluation of the self-declaration will be carried out by a committee formed by five members. Only the phenotypic aspects of the candidate (appearance) will be considered.
