On an upward trajectory, above the levels of 1,110 points, the stock market returned to today’s session, after two days of mild corrective retreat, amid mild upward movement of the European markets.

O General Price Index closed at 1,111.33 points, up 0.43%.

On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 076%, since the beginning of April it has strengthened to a percentage of 5.38% and since the beginning of 2023 it has recorded gains of 19.52%.

The value of the transactions amounted to 84.76 million euros, while 29,475,979 shares were traded.

The large-cap index rose 0.61%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.19%.

Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ellactor (+3.19%), Mytileneos (+1.92%), Jumbo (+1.82%), GEK TERNA (+1, 81%), Eurobank (+1.75%) and Alpha Bank (+1.34%).

On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of ELPE (-2.37%), Motor Oil (-1.35%), Lamda Development (-0.86%) and Titan (-0.67%).

Of the individual indices, the Personal Products (+1.76%) and Banks (+1.13%) indices recorded the greatest increase, while the Oil (-1.62%) and Trade (-0.96%).

Piraeus and MIG presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 8,436,875 and 5,751,773 shares, respectively.

The highest transaction value was recorded by Piraeus with 19.29 million euros and National with 8.07 million euros.

52 stocks moved up, 47 down and 22 remained stable.

The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +13.73% and Entersoft +7.62%.

The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Biocarpet -5.05% and Kecrops -4.63%.
