On Friday, April 28, those taxpayers who submit their returns by midnight today will receive the “entire” tax refund – without ENFIA offsetting.

For all tax declarations submitted from tomorrow, Thursday, April 28, and after that and the settlement statements are credit, then there will be an offset with debts from ENFIA.

According to a relevant update from the AADE, the posting of the ENFIA settlement statements will take place next weekend, April 29 and 30.

As clarified, those taxpayers who do not have debts to AADE or EFKA, are waiting for a refund from an income tax return and do not want it to be set off with ENFIA, are invited to submit their declaration by Wednesday 26/4 or wait for the issuance of the ENFIA clearances, to pay the ENFIA and then submit their tax return.

According to the data so far from the credit memos that the taxpayers have already received, the money has entered the bank accounts for three out of four taxpayers.

However, there are also cases for which further control is required in order for AADE to proceed with the refund of the amounts.

Finally, it should be noted that according to the available data of AADE, 67 days before the deadline for submitting tax returns, which normally expires on June 30, 2023, 236,856 returns have been submitted.
