Labor and Social Affairs Minister Kostis Hatzidakis said: “The new record in the hiring balance for the second month in a row highlights the effectiveness of government policy in the economy as a whole and in the labor market in particular. The 22-year record in hiring, as well as the 13-year low in the unemployment rate, is a result of the overall economic, tax, licensing policy, as well as the labor reforms that brought Greece closer to the European acquis. I am sure that in the upcoming elections the Greek citizens will not risk the continuation of the positive course and will turn their backs on illusions and experiments”.

At the same time, with his post on Twitter, Kostis Hatzidakis commented that “these data underline the effectiveness of government policy in the economy and the labor market”
