On the occasion of the data on the flows of salaried employment in the private sector published yesterday by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the president of EBEA Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou said: “The data on the labor market confirm the positive course of the Greek economy with businesses playing a leading role , despite the adverse international environment. The positive results of the Ministry of Labor are fully aligned with the conclusions of the recent EBEA survey, according to which 9 out of 10 companies maintained or increased their staff.

In order not to interrupt the progress that has been recorded and to confirm the positive assessments of businesses about the course of the economy, as EBEA we underline the importance of appointing a stable government to implement measures, such as the reduction of insurance contributions and covering part of this cost from the state to further increase employment, immediate VAT refunds and access to low-interest loans to boost liquidity, especially of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the creation of programs to assist the digital and green transformation of businesses.”
