“The battle against accuracy continues but our measures are bearing fruit” notes the Minister of Development and Investments Adonis Georgiadis in his post on social media on the occasion of the announcement of the data from Eurostat showing that in April our country had the second lowest food inflation in the EU-27.

As the minister says on social media:

“Greece had the 2nd lowest food inflation in the EU-27 in April, according to Eurostat, after a large decrease of 3 percentage points compared to March when Greece was in 6th place.

In terms of general inflation, Greece remains 5th in the EU-27. Specifically, Food Inflation by Country is as follows:
