The payment of the main and supplementary pensions for July, the advance payment of pension for the same month and the benefits of the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA) for June, includes, among other things, the planning of payments from e-EFKA, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and OPECA, for the week of June 26-30, 2023.
In total, it is estimated that around 2.43 billion euros will be paid to over 4.8 million beneficiaries.
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in its announcement:
1. Next week, e-EFKA will make the following payments, as part of the organization’s regular payments:
– On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, 541 million euros will be paid for the main and auxiliary pensions for June to 912,414 pensioners from the former bodies: OAEE, OGA, NAT, ETAT, ETAA, ETAP-MME and PPC.
– On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, 821.4 million euros will be paid for the main and auxiliary June pensions to 1,568,898 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires in 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
– On Thursday, June 29, 2023, 820.6 million euros will be paid to 1,571,705 pensioners of the State, IKA-ETAM, banks and OTE, whose AMKA expires on 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8.
– On Friday, June 30, 2023, 5.7 million euros will be paid to 15,000 beneficiaries for July pension advances, based on Law 4778/2021.
– In addition, next week, 20.1 million euros will be paid to 850 beneficiaries following the issuance of lump sum decisions.
2. The following payments will be made by DYPA:
– 12 million euros to 20,000 beneficiaries for the payment of unemployment benefits and other benefits.
– 15 million euros to 12,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
– 7 million euros to 10,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
– 5 million euros to 300 beneficiaries for public benefit programs.
3. OPECA will make the following payments on Friday, June 30, 2023:
– 82 million euros to 178,000 beneficiaries for disability benefits (disability and maintenance).
– 42.1 million euros to 201,861 beneficiaries for Minimum Guaranteed Income.
– 33.2 million euros to 275,373 beneficiaries for housing allowance.
– 12.7 million euros to 35,414 beneficiaries for uninsured elderly benefits.
– 11.3 million euros to 11,248 beneficiaries for birth allowance.
– 260,000 euros to 510 beneficiaries for financial support for underwriting.
– 240,128 euros to 721 beneficiaries for housing assistance allowance.
– 205,043 euros to 5,824 beneficiaries for expatriate allowance.
– 196,925 euros to 2,269 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans (main residence protection).
– 114,794 euros to 144 beneficiaries for funeral expenses of the uninsured.
– 88,767 euros to 512 beneficiaries as a State contribution to loans of the “GEFYRA” program (due to COVID-19).
– 25,000 euros to 80 beneficiaries as financial support under the “Personal Assistant” program.
– 10,200 euros to 21 beneficiaries as an allowance for mountainous and disadvantaged areas.
– 9,100 euros to 60 beneficiaries for an allowance for expatriates from North Epirus.
– 9,377 euros to 84 beneficiaries as a State contribution to vulnerable debtors.
